Hot. Dull. Windy. Big rigs. Sigh. I'm glad I only had 151 miles of this today. I was very glad to get to Albuquerque, where I could stay with Merrily's cousin Peter and his wife, JoAnn.

We had a great evening, with a good dinner, with some nice friends of Pete and Jo's in for dinner. Pete gave me some good information on the scenic roads that went north from Albuquerque to Colorado.

I was off to bed early, as was Pete. He had to get up at 5:00AM the next morning. I wanted an early start to avoid as much heat as possible.
